I wanna posting about festivals in korea.
There are many festivals in korea. about 1000!!
Of them i choose 10 festivals and will post them.
I'm interested in korean festivals because i decided before that if i have boyfriend someday, i will participate in festivals and enjoy it!! :)
Today i will introduce Hangang Yeouido Spring Flower Festival.
Fabulous cherry blossom festivals alerting the arrival of spring in Seoul. The festival will be held in Yeouido Park and Yeouiseo-ro (back of the National Assembly Building) between the early part and middle of April every year when cherry blossom comes to full bloom During the festival, feast of spring will be unfold in Yeouido against the wide open Han River, as 13 types of 87,859 spring flowers come into full moon, such as the azalea, forsythias, royal azaleas, bridal wreaths, and deutzia, including 1,641 trees of Prunus yedoensis, which is originally from Jeju Island. Starting with the spring flower festival parade performed by professional parade troupes and citizens, various culture and arts combined performance and participation events will be present all over the streets. In the night, special landscape lighting will shine the cherry blossom creating beautiful spring night romances.

This year, this festival will be held April 13th - 17th
After enjoy it, you can go other sightseeing places near there.
I recommend two.

Hello Hye Jin. The flowers look beautiful! I think the cherry blossoms in spring are really pretty. Last year I stayed in Jeonju and just looked at the cherry blossoms on campus and at the zoo. Maybe this year I will travel somewhere... maybe~

I have to study hard on this week so I am very sad :( The weather of spring in Korea is really nice! it is warm and fresh. But I didn’t have chance to visit many festivals because I was in high school and didn’t have time to go! But now since I am university student and have free time, I can go festivals! I am really exciting to go! May I should go to the festival that you recommend! The Hangang sprig flower festival sound so interesting! But it is too far away Jeonju!. May.. later? Haha but it seems really fun! Have you been there before? Any way as you said, there are many festivals in korea, I’ll go there! Thank you for the wonderful post!
답글삭제Hello, Hyejin! I'm Sojin. Your post is really interesting to me. I also want to go Han river Yeouido Spring Flower Festival. But Seoul is so far to me. I'm very sad about it. Flower looks very pretty. I really want to go there! And I don't want to spring over.
